Abstract: Based on the parallel corpus of “The Ancient Art of Writing”, the calligraphy exhibition of the National Palace Museum of Taipei, the paper, with jin （劲） phrases as an example, discusses the translation of calligraphic aesthetic terms in museum introductions and makes a critical reading of the translation by the National Palace Museum of Taipei in the light of intertextual coherence and intratextual coherence in the framework of the Skopos Theory. The componential analysis shows that the aesthetic terms in the same semantic field such as qiujin （遒劲） cangjin （苍劲）and so on have some subtle differences in aesthetic meaning. The translation by the National Palace Museum of Taipei makes the basic aesthetic meaning clear to the Englishspeaking visitors, and thus is adequate in terms of intratextual coherence, but the delicate difference in these terms are not fully transferred, and thus there is still some room for improvement in terms of intertextual coherence.

摘要： 自建台北故宫博物院“笔有千秋业”书法展览解说词汉英平行语料库，以目的论语际连贯、语内连贯原则为关照，以劲字词组的翻译为例，客观评价台北故宫书法展览解说词中审美术语的英译。分析表明，劲多与“遒”“苍”等字构成审美二字格词组，同一语义场中的“遒劲”“苍劲”等词在语义上存在差异。台北故宫的英译总体上简洁明了，语内连贯强，但在语际连贯方面，即忠实传译审美术语的语义差异方面尚有改善余地。
