Abstract: The “twoway” spirit, namely being unafraid of hardship nor death, struggling tenaciously, acting as “paving stone” willingly, and uniting soldiers and citizens was formed in the hard process of the construction and maintenance of highways from Sichuan to Tibet and Qinghai to Tibet. “Twoway” spirit embodies the inherent requirements and value orientation of the socialist core values. In the new era, its significant to strengthen students socialist core values education with the “twoway” spirit. At the same time, we must combine the ideological and political theory courses, campus culture and social life of university students practice and other ways to promote the “twoway” spirit, and strengthen students socialist core values education.

摘要： “一不怕苦、二不怕死，顽强拼搏、甘当路石，军民一家、民族团结”的“两路”精神是在川藏、青藏公路修建和养护的艰难历程中形成的。“两路”精神体现了社会主义核心价值观的内在要求和价值取向。新时期弘扬“两路”精神对于加强大学生社会主义核心价值观教育具有重要意义。应结合高校思想政治理论课、校园文化建设以及社会实践等多种途径，弘扬“两路”精神，加强大学生社会主义核心价值观教育。
