As two kinds of politics in modern society, universal equality politics and cultural difference politics are related to two pluralistic concepts which are value pluralism and cultural pluralism. The relationship between two pluralistic theories is complex, just as universal equality politics and cultural difference politics intertwine each other. Four modes of the way to deal with the relationship between the two pluralistic theories can be distinguished, and John Grays “Modus Vivendi” gets more applicability than the other modes while the liberalism is criticized parochialism and arbitrariness owing to its arguments against cultural pluralism.

Institutional capacity as an analytical framework to study the performance of village governance is an innovative perspective on rural governance. Through empirical investigation methods, the relationship of institutional capacity and villages Governance Performance is analyzed. The impact of institutional capacity elements to the village governance performance is explored. It is a positive correlation between institutional capacity and governance performance. The factor of “elite trust” in the internal mobilization is one of the most important factors. The influence of traditional modes of governance performance of mobilization is no longer evident. External mobilization has a significant positive impact on village governance.

Ngugi Wa Thiongo is one of the most famous novelists of the 20th century throughout Africa. The most outstanding representative work of his is Petals of Blood. It tells us the process of modernization of Ilmorog in Kenya. Through the past fragment review of the four heroes, the novel gradually reveals Kenyas social problems after independence. From the postcolonial perspective, the process of Ilmorog in Kenya is analyzed from a place of suffering from lack of water into a prosperous town and the authors anticolonial consciousness is revealed from exposing the link between bureaucratcapitalism and the international multinational company and their ugly face towards the oppression and plunder of the national economy.

Jyuusannya is one of the masterpieces of Higutiitiyou, a famous Japanese woman writer in Meiji times. The images and space construction in this novel were analyzed from the perspective of narratology. The images of “moon”, “lattice door” and “road” create a kind of space between reality and illusion. The protagonist Oseki also transforms herself from illusion to reality, compromising herself completely to the reality. Through stereoscopic space construction and shifts of narrative perspective, Higutiitiyou vividly expresses her sympathy for the situation of the lower people. Speech segmentation is the process by which the listener divides up the continuous speech stream into linguistically significant units that can be used to access meaning. The research on the influencing factors of speech segmentation is significant in that it helps the learners to improve their segmentation skills and speech recognition capability. English writing can effectively promote the development of learners basic knowledge, skills and comprehensive application ability of language; improve their critical thinking, innovation, crosscultural communication and such literacy; and as thus is a key point as well as a difficult aspect in college English teaching and learning. The empirical study of writings and corrections at www.pigai.org were combined. The corpus tool WordSmith Tools 6.0 statistical retrieval is adopted. BNC, COCA and other online corpus resources were consulted. The significance of corpora for English writing, correcting and teaching were analyzed. In the past 30odd years, Cohesion research has experienced a fruitful and colorful course in theoretical and applied areas since being introduced into China in the 1980s. The course of Cohesion research in the Chinese academia was reviewed based on the eighty seven papers titled with cohesion from nine major foreign language journals. Presently, cohesion theory has been systematic from its introduction to completion. It has been fruitfully and broadly researched and has become a cross discipline issue, widely applied to translation and teaching areas; however, there are some underdeveloped aspects of cohesion research: more theoretical research than applied, more qualitative research than quantitive, and more research in English than in other languages, which needs improving in the future.

The redaction errors will directly affect the quality of scientific papers and even the journal issues. But in practice, due to high professionality and multidisciplinary feature of scientific papers, it is hard to find a simple and effective way to radically “eliminate” the redaction errors. To minimize the negative effects of redaction errors on the quality of scientific papers and journals, classification and influence of common redaction mistakes, the concept of “redaction error classification” was put forward; correspondingly, for different levels of the error classification, different error correction strategies were proposed in order to make a high priority of the “elimination” of the errors with serious impact on the paper quality meanwhile minimize the errors with relatively mild impact, thus effectively improve the overall redaction quality of scientific papers.
