Abstract: Lexi road was an important strategic channel for international aid to China during the Anti Japanese War period. It was a first automobile transportation line outside in the history of Xichang. Its historical significance was very great, which is mainly reflected in the transport strategic materials, promoting economic development of towns along the road and the Ningshu areas of social transformation.

摘要： 乐西公路是抗战时期为打通国际援华通路、开发宁属地区资源而修建的一条重要战略通道，也是西昌历史上对外的第一条汽车运输线，其修筑意义十分巨大。乐西公路在战时抢运战略物资、促进沿线城镇经济发展以及促使宁属地区社会转型等方面发挥了巨大作用。
