Abstract: As the digital economy continues to develop and tourism consumption becomes a new economic growth point, it is particularly important to maintain the resilience of household travel consumption and the stability of economic growth. Based on the resilience perspective, digitalization and household travel consumption are studied according to the CFPS database, and the results show that 1) digitalization has a significant positive contribution to household travel consumption resilience, and the results are robust; 2) digitization enhances household travel consumption resilience through two channels: broadening information channels and enhancing social interaction. Digitization contributes more to the travel consumption resilience of middleincome households, older households and households in backward areas. The study proposes that the construction and popularization of digital infrastructure should be strengthened, customized digital travel services should be improved with the wave of digitization, digital literacy training should be carried out, and the consumption potential of the silverhaired group should be further explored, which is an important policy revelation for the vigorous growth of travel consumption.
