Abstract: For thousands of years, the status of women has been neglected by the society and the family. With the development of society, womens social status has been greatly improved, but the traditional ideas that females are inferior to males are still in people mind. As the classics of womens liberation, Engels Family, Private Ownership and the Origins of Nation points out the direction for womens liberation, giving women the pursuit of freedom and equality of great confidence and courage. Interpretation of Engels ideas about womens liberation has great significance for Chinese womens liberation and development.

摘要： 千百年来，女性地位一直被社会及家庭所忽略。随着社会的发展，女性地位得到了很大的提高，但传统男尊女卑的思想仍残留在人们的意识深处。恩格斯的《家庭、私有制和国家的起源》作为女性解放的经典著作，为女性解放指明了方向，给予了女性追求自由与平等的极大信心和勇气。解读恩格斯关于女性解放的重要思想，对我国女性解放与发展具有重要意义。
