Abstract: D.H. Lawrences poetry puts great emphasis on “sense awareness”, among which “the sense of touch” is the most salient and philosophical. In Lawrences poetry, touch is the expression of love between parents and children and also between the different sexes. Lawrence contends that a healthy and complete person should be the unity of both the body and the mind. However, the ultimate goal of touch is not the physical body, but the emotion and human soul .By means of this sense of touch, there should form a communication and interaction among human beings, other beings and the universe .For the modern people who live in a mechanical and materialized civilization, the touch awareness will save them from “solipsism” and the emotional impoverishment by finding a way back to love, harmony and wholeness.

摘要： 劳伦斯诗歌重视感官意识，其中触觉感知尤其突出。触摸是劳伦斯诗歌中亲子和两性之间爱意的传达，在劳伦斯看来，健康完整的人应当是身体与精神的统一。触觉的最终目的不是肉体的触摸，而是达到触摸人类的情感和灵魂，形成人、环境与宇宙生命之间的沟通和互动。在这个机械和物质文明占主导的时代，劳伦斯触觉意识为生活在“唯我”状态、感知钝化的现代人指出了一条回归完整、和谐与爱的神秘通道。
