Brahmanisms Negative Effect on Building Centralized State in Ancient India

婆罗门教对古代印度中央集权国家构建的阻碍作用

Abstract: Building centralized state is a way of centralizing power to carry out the public rights and govern the country, which needs effective government function, supreme regality, administrative system, great military power, and the common national cultural character. Brahmanism came about the same time as the original state building. Brahmanism reduced the government function and resisted its power, inhibited regality and the building of administrative system, hindered the emergence of the common national culture. Brahmanism made its negative effect on centralized state building.

摘要: 中央集权是政府为实践国家职能与公共权力,集中力量进行国家管理的一种形式。中央集权的形成需要国家权力的贯彻、君主发挥至高无上的统帅作用、行之有效的官僚体系以及强大的军事力量和共同文化作支撑。婆罗门教产生于古代印度国家形成时期,它削弱了国家职能,抵制国家力量渗透,阻碍社会流动,影响国家官僚体制的构建,限制王权,阻碍军事力量的发展和共同文化的形成。婆罗门教对古代印度中央集权国家的形成产生了消极阻碍作用。
