Abstract: Known as a fairytale godmother, Angela Carters fame is greatly indebted to her rewriting of the fairytale. “The Bloody Chamber” is adapted on the basis of “Blue Beard” written by Charles Perrault, a French fairytale master. The birth of the new female “I” is analyzed through closely reading the text, namely, female body as a new medium to voice a womans inner world, female spirit as a new impetus to seek a womans progress, female utterance as a new means to pursue womans independence.

摘要: 童话教母安吉拉·卡特因其对童话的改写而享誉世界文坛,其短篇小说《染血之室》是在改写法国童话大师夏尔·佩罗的《蓝胡子》的基础上创作的。通过文本分析,探讨《染血之室》中新女性“我”的诞生,具体包括三个方面:女性身体作为女性发声的新媒介,女性精神作为女性进步的新动力,女性话语作为女性自主的新途径。
