Abstract: This paper reviews the “rudimentary ability to mediate” hypothesis proposed by Wolfgang Lrscher, and further discusses the limitations from two aspects: one is the lack of conspicuous definitions of the ability hereof for different groups; the other is a relatively plain description on the translation processing against professional and nonprofessional translators.

摘要： 回顾Wolfgang Lrscher提出的“跨语言调节基本能力”假说，从两方面对该假说的局限性展开讨论：一是对不同群体的“跨语言调节基本能力”缺少明确界定，二是对非专业译者与专业译者的翻译加工过程的描述不够全面。
