Abstract: Internationalization is an important momentum of higher vocational education development in China. To accelerate the process of establishing an internationalized higher vocational education with Chinese characteristics and international comparatives, higher vocational colleges in China should actively participate in the activities of international exchanges with visions of openness, fully absorb and learn from international experiences in educational concepts and reforms, and effectively introduce high-quality education resources to provide better education. A general picture of recent development of internationalization in Guangdong with five higher vocational colleges as targets is shown. Typical barriers for internationalization development are disclosed. Ways to remove these barriers are suggested.

摘要： 国际化是我国高等职业教育的一个重要发展趋势。高职院校应当坚持开放的办学理念，积极参与国际教育交流与合作，充分吸收和借鉴国际上先进的教育理念和改革经验，善于引进和利用国际优质教育资源，全面提升人才培养质量，实现建设成为具有中国特色和国际比较优势的高水平高职教育的发展愿景。通过对广东省高职院校教育国际化发展现状的调查，揭示其典型问题，破解发展瓶颈，实现共同发展。
