Abstract: Liberian English is a cover term encompassing the many varieties of English spoken by Liberians. An analysis of the emergence and development of Liberian English is offered and some basic rules and principles at the phonetical, lexical as well as grammatical level are explored and two functions of Liberian English are summarized.

摘要： 利比里亚英语（Liberian English）是指相对于标准英语而言，人们对利比里亚人讲的各种英语变体的总称。分析利比里亚英语形成的原因及过程，阐述其在语音、词汇以及语法方面的一些特征，讨论利比里亚英语在教育用语、日常用语方面的社会功能。
