The “two roads” spirit is the practical expression of the combination of Marxist theory of spiritual production and the crisis in the southwest border area since modern China， while the spirit genealogy of Chinese communists is the categorization and systematization of the revolutionary spirit of the party in different periods of revolution， construction and reform. As an important part of the spiritual pedigrees of Chinese communists， the “two roads” has a high degree of internal homogeneity with other revolutionary spirits in the pedigrees: that is， it shows the original intention and mission of the party， highlights the lofty character of the party， carries out the fundamental purpose of the party and insists on the great quality of pioneering and innovation. At the same time， the“two roads” has typical uniqueness in the birth period， breeding industry， covering region and spawning subject， which enriches and expands the connotation and extension of the spiritual lineage of Chinese communists to a considerable extent.

After the founding of New China， “in order to help brothers”， the powerful roadbuilding army overcame many difficulties and built “two roads”. In this process， people of all nations worked together to write the Xizang chapter of national unity. The victory of “two roads” narrowed the gap between nations， promoted national exchanges and enhanced cultural consensus. In the construction and use of the SichuanXizang and QinghaiXizang highways， it is found that the extension and expansion of the roads have a positive impact on the enhancement of the awareness of the Chinese national community among the people of all ethnic groups along the road， and the SichuanXizang and QinghaiXizang highways have realized the effective integration of geographical space resources and the high coincidence of social space， further enhancing the “five identities”. In the great practice of communications construction in new China， centered around the strategy of establishing， revitalizing， enriching， and strengthening the country， the revolutionary spirit of the transportation front has been formed， with the great spirit of founding the party as the source， represented by the “two roads” spirit and the spirit of the QinghaiXizang Railway. Studying the reports on the “two roads”spirit in Xinhua Daily Telegraph from 2021 to 2023， this paper employs the transitivity system in systemic functional linguistics to analyze the social image of the “two roads” spirit constructed in the news. Relational processes in the news reveal the nature of the “two roads” spirit； typical “two roads” characters are portrayed through material processes and behavioral processes combined to illustrate the manifestation of the “two roads” spirit， and circumstances are used to present its farreaching influence in Xizang. The news reports achieve process intensification through metaphors of transitivity and enhance their readability while verbal processes combined with relational processes can make the news read less homiletic.

The “two roads” spirit and building a powerful country in transportation are rooted in the excellent traditional Chinese culture， started from the original mission of the Communist Party of China， and developed in the historical process of the modernization of Marxism in China. From the relation of the two， the “two roads” spirit is an important source of strength for building a powerful country in transportation. As a crucial component of modern urban public transport， the railway has gradually become the primary choice for citizens daily traveling. The railway carries the transport function and the citys humanity， characteristics， and culture. Taking the development of Chongqing railway culture as the object， it explores the innovative development of railway culture based on the research perspective of the “two roads” spirit. Firstly， the current situation and components of Chongqing railway culture are analyzed. Secondly， the enabling mechanisms of the “two roads” spirit for the main body of power， the elements of power， and the medium of power are explored. As an important tool to realise green mobility and alleviate urban traffic pressure, it is of great significance to achieve highquality development of new energy shared vehicles. The construction of the QinghaiXizang highway was ordered by the Communist Party of China in the early days of the founding of New China to liberate Xizang， safeguard the integrity and unity of the country， and support the construction of border areas. However， the initial construction of the highway was not completed in accordance with the established route， but because it was closely related to the three major tasks of the Peoples Liberation Armys march into Qamdo to liberate Xizang， the Northwest Bureaus escort of the Panchen Lama back to Xizang， and the states support for the construction and development of Xizang， after rushing to repair the road along the Yellow River from Xining to Lhasa， and surveying the road from Xining to Yushu. After constructing the Golmud to Lhasa section and the Dunhuang to Lhasa section for three road construction surveys， we finally give up the initial Xining to Lhasa route through Yushu， and changed the Xining to the west through Golmud and then south to Xizang to Lhasa route to build and run through the QinghaiXizang highway.
