摘要： 严复的天人思想完成了对中国传统天人思想的批判，构建了具有规律性和普遍性的客观存在的“天”，认为“天”是人类产生和生存的基础；进而提出天演普遍法则是“天”的规律性的具体表现，并具体阐释了人的实践活动在天演法则下主观能动性和受动性相统一。这些观点已经具有现代哲学的要素。

Abstract: YAN Fus thought of heaven and human completed the criticism of Chinese traditional thought of heaven and human, has constructed the regularity and universality of the objective existence of the “day”, that “heaven” is man and the survival foundation; and the universal principles of evolution and ethics are that “day” rules of specific performance. These views are elements of modern philosophy.
