Abstract: Digital economy has given new impetus to highquality development. Can it drive the optimization and upgrading of the logistics industry and highquality development Based on the panel data of Chinese provinces from 2011 to 2020, this paper first analyzes the direct mechanism of digital economy on the highquality development of the logistics industry, and then introduces the intermediary variable of technological innovation to empirically test the transmission mechanism of “digital economytechnological innovationhighquality development of the logistics industry”. The results show that:1） the development of the digitaleconomy has a significant positive impact on the highquality development of the logistics industry, and the results are still significant after shortening the sample period and eliminating the robustness test of developed provinces; 2）technological innovationcan to promote the highquality development of the logistics industry, and has an intermediary effect between the digital economy and the highquality development of the logistics industry;3）the impact of digital economy on the highquality development of the logistics industry is regionally heterogeneous, with the most significant area in the east and centralregions, and the degree of impact on the western region is significantly lower than that in the eastern and central regions, while the impact on the northeast region is not significant.
