Digital Economy, Technological Innovation and Highquality Development of Logistics Industry

摘要: 数字经济为高质量发展赋予新动能。基于2011—2020年中国省份的面板数据,分析数字经济对物流业高质量发展的直接作用效应,并引入技术创新这一中介变量,实证检验“数字经济—技术创新—物流业高质量发展”的传导机制。数字经济发展对物流业高质量发展具有显著的正向影响,经过缩短样本期和剔除发达省份的稳健性检验后,结果仍然显著;技术创新能促进物流业的高质量发展,且在数字经济和物流业高质量发展之间具有中介效应;数字经济对物流业高质量发展的影响具有区域异质性,东中部地区最显著,对西部地区的影响程度明显低于东中部,而东北地区的影响不显著。

Abstract: Digital economy has given new impetus to highquality development. Can it drive the optimization and upgrading of the logistics industry and highquality development Based on the panel data of Chinese provinces from 2011 to 2020, this paper first analyzes the direct mechanism of digital economy on the highquality development of the logistics industry, and then introduces the intermediary variable of technological innovation to empirically test the transmission mechanism of “digital economytechnological innovationhighquality development of the logistics industry”. The results show that:1) the development of the digitaleconomy has a significant positive impact on the highquality development of the logistics industry, and the results are still significant after shortening the sample period and eliminating the robustness test of developed provinces; 2)technological innovationcan to promote the highquality development of the logistics industry, and has an intermediary effect between the digital economy and the highquality development of the logistics industry;3)the impact of digital economy on the highquality development of the logistics industry is regionally heterogeneous, with the most significant area in the east and centralregions, and the degree of impact on the western region is significantly lower than that in the eastern and central regions, while the impact on the northeast region is not significant.
