Abstract: Women in Tang dynasty were active on the stage of history and made outstanding contributions to the prosperity of the dynasty. With the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, the revival of Chinese culture has also gradually influenced the academic concern over the history of Tang dynasty. In the recent ten years, remarkable progress has been made in the research on women in Tang dynasty, resulting in a series of rather valuable research results. The scope of research is increasingly extensive. The research results mainly focus on three parts: holistic research, special studies and other studies.
