Abstract: Responding to the global ecological crisis， adhering to sustainable development and realizing harmonious coexistence between man and nature are the essential requirements for all countries to carry out ecological governance， and also the practical requirements for creating a new form of human civilization. Guided by Marxs historical materialist view of nature， the Communist Party of China analyzes the root causes of ecological crisis at the practical level， responds to the practical requirements of civilization progress， realizes the development of human ecological civilization thinking at the theoretical level， innovates the idea of human ecological civilization construction， continuously expands the vision of domestic and international ecological governance at the practical level， improves the institutionalization of Chinas ecological governance， and provides Chinese solutions to the construction of a global ecological civilization governance system. Its cognitive horizon has been elevated to the height of world history， and its development approach has expanded to the breadth of world civilization.
