Abstract: Hongyan spirit is an important part of the spiritual pedigree of the Chinese Communists,which is engraved with the history of the hard struggle of the Communist Party of China and infiltrated with the hard work of the older generation of revolutionaries represented by ZHOU Enlai. To interpret ZHOU Enlai and Hongyan spirit under the guidance of the great historical view can broaden the historical horizon. Starting from the history of the development of the Chinese nation, tracing the source of Chinese civilization and Chinese culture, the cultural foundation contained in ZHOU Enlai and Hongyan spirit is interpreted. Starting from the struggle history of the Communist Party of China, based on the historical moment, this paper reveals the connotation of the times of ZHOU Enlai and Hongyan spirit. Starting from the development history of world socialism, this paper reviews the significance of ZHOU Enlai and Hongyan spirit in the development history of world socialism.
