Abstract: Mass medium is the vanguard of language usage. The rapid social change is bound to leave a deep imprint in the medium language. Obvious changes have taken place in The Peoples Daily journalistic phraseology during the new period, which is showed in the order change of highfrequency shared words and semantic feature difference of soleused words in different historical period. It is not only the true reflection of the change of times, but also the embodiment of progress and maturity of The Peoples Daily news language.

摘要： 大众媒介是语言运用的急先锋，社会的急剧变迁必然会在媒介语言中留下深刻的印记。不同历史时期两份高频语文词表中高频共用词语序位的变化、独用词语语义特征的差异显示，新时期《人民日报》新闻用语发生了较为明显的变化。这种变化是时代变迁的真实写照，更是《人民日报》新闻用语日趋进步与成熟的体现。
