晚明工程技术典籍的传播与翻译 ——基于《园冶》与《天工开物》的共性考察

Abstract: Representing Chinas engineering and technical classics respectively, Yuan Ye and Tian Gong Kai Wu of late Ming Dynasty are highly similar in their domestic experience and international influence as well as the courses and routes of their overseas transmission and translation into foreign languages. An inspection of the courses and leading forces of their translation and overseas transmission reveals that, while popularizing the engineering and technical achievements of ancient China, these activities not only contribute to the protection and inheritance of such works, but also have a positive enlightenment to contemporary translation of Chinese classics.

摘要: :作为工程技术典籍的代表,晚明著作《园冶》与《天工开物》在国内的遭遇、对外传播及翻译的时间与空间及其产生的国际影响等方面高度相似。考察二者对外传播和翻译的过程与主导力量,不仅有利于推广中国古代工程技术成就,而且有利于典籍自身的保护与传承,对当代典籍翻译有积极的启示意义。
