Abstract: The translation study has long been focusing on YU Gungzhongs translation practice to the neglect of his view points. As a new kind of research paradigm ecotranslatology holds that the translator is supposed to adapt to translational ecoenvironment and achieve his mission of “making a difference through translating” by retaining the superior version instead of the inferior. As YUs ideas bear quite resemblance to it, this paper offers a new perspective of his translation viewpoints, hoping that the readership will better understand them.

摘要： 长期以来，人们对余光中的翻译研究大多体现在其翻译实践的考察上，对其翻译思想或翻译观的讨论相对较少。生态翻译学是21世纪初兴起的一种新的研究范式，主张译者在适应翻译生态环境的基础上实施对译文的选择，然后对译本进行“汰弱留强”，最终使译品得以长存，实现译者翻译的“译有所为”。鉴于生态翻译学的理念和余光中的翻译观存有相似之处，对余光中的翻译观进行生态翻译学层面的解读，旨在让读者对余光中的翻译观有更深入的认识，同时为拓宽余光中翻译观的研究视角贡献绵薄之力。
