Abstract: The movement of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom is one of the biggest peasant uprisings in Chinese history and has a great influence on modern Chinese history. Its own currency, which has high historical and cultural collection value,has become an important component of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. Due to wars, the currency was very rare, but it does not affect its historical value.So it is necessary to give a survey on the basis of predecessors research in order to offer reference for other scholars further study.
