Abstract: With the rapid development of global industrial revolution and technological change, the aerospace industry, as a national strategic emerging industry, is experiencing unprecedented development opportunities and challenges. Financial technology is of great significance in stimulating innovation vitality in the aerospace industry and accelerating the formation of new quality productivity. This article selects A-share aerospace industry listed companies from 2016 to 2023 as the research object, and empirically analyzes the impact and mechanism of financial technology on the new quality productivity of aerospace enterprises. Research has shown that financial technology can significantly promote the improvement of the new quality productivity level of listed companies in the aerospace industry, and the conclusion remains robust after endogeneity and robustness tests. The results of mechanism analysis show that financial technology can promote the improvement of new quality productivity in the aerospace industry through two ways: alleviating financing constraints and promoting technological innovation. Heterogeneity analysis found that financial technology has a more significant promoting effect on private aerospace enterprises, high-tech intensive, high-quality talent, and financially sound aerospace enterprises.
