摘要： 情感之于诗歌，犹如水之源、木之本，浓烈而炽热的情感是西尔维娅·普拉斯短暂而辉煌的诗歌生涯的源泉。窥探其诗歌文本、所处时代环境以及其短暂却丰富的人生经历，发现普拉斯诗歌中充满极丰富的情感悖论：对父亲情感的爱恨交织、对女性情感困境的迷失以及对生死都抱以极度的热情。这些悖论源于诗人现实生活中进退维谷的境地，但诗歌语言却超越了诗人的现实处境，使其诗歌有了更为丰富的内涵和更为迷人的魅力。

Abstract: The importance of emotion in poetry is just like source of water and roots of trees, while the strong emotions are the right sources of Sylvia Plaths writing career. Through probing into her poems, the social conditions of her time and her short but rich life experience, we find that there are plenty of emotional paradoxes in Plaths poems, including her conflicting emotions to her father, her bewildered attitude to females dilemma and her great passion to both life and death, which can be traced back to the dilemmas in her life. However, the poetic language speaks more than her own life experience, which brings more connotations and charms of her poetry.
